Even though life does get pretty hectic for each individual in my family, however no matter how busy we may be, we will make it a point to get together once a week; be it just a simple meal, a short outing. Usually on Sundays, each member in my family will take turn to be the 'head' to take charge and organize what's coming up on this special get-together day. "To give and take" is the key motto for my family as we sincerely believe that fate brings us together and we must treasure one another to the fullest.

Our family enjoys time spent together during meal time talking about a host of subjects concerning the happening of the day and important observations made. We also enjoy going to cinema and for a good movie with good moral values e.g. Cars etc and discussing the morals of the show afterwards. Going to church as a family during the weekend and lunching out together also bonds the family together.

Birthdays and children's day are very important dates in our calendar. These are the only 2 days of the year where we bring them to the toy store to choose their toys and they get to go where they would like to go eg the Zoo, Wild Wild Wet, the Science Centre and so on. Most of the time though we have fruitful talks in the car as we have a hectic schedule throughout the week. I'm the disciplinarian and my wife is the love giver. We understand our roles and support one another in our actions and decisions.

We enjoyed our time together by spending as much time available to us. Such as our yearly vacations overseas . Monthly we would have movie out together the choice of the titles are picked by our two teenagers aged 17 and 18.Weekly we would have eating out together in their favourite hawker haunts. If not daily we would eat together during dinner time when there is time for home cooked meals if not we would pack home the meals. Sometimes they would join us in our adults company of friends karoake sessions or wedding anniversary. If not their cousins' birthdays celebrations.
