The key words for 'Enjoy Your Family' should be bonding and sharing. As working parents, we have very little time with our daugther, but we will make sure that one of us will be home before she goes to sleep. We hug each other, we discuss and plan everything together, be it a simple dinner, or buying a house. Each member is encouaged to voice out their needs or problems and we will tackle the issue immedately. Keep in touch with our other family members (example: grandparents) is a must in our family. We are friend, lover and family all in one.

I make sure I go on a date with my husband at least once a month to get away from the children and have quality couple-time. We also try and have a "Fun and Crazy Day" monthly where the children can plan fun and funny things they want to do and we will do it as a family. We had loads of fun painting each other's face ! Most importantly, dont stinge on the hugs and I-Love-Yous.

My parents used to bring us on road trips when we were young and we will spend 5 days driving all over Malaysia. We will sing together as a family in the car and play simple games using the car plate numbers of other cars. Indeed a great way to enjoy your family!

Another favourite activity is to watch drama series together with my sister and mother, chasing one episode after another and discussing the plot intensely and guessing what will happen next. It's like having all 3 of us on the Director's seat!

Last week, from Monday to Wednesday, my family set aside some serious Family Time, pardon the oxymoron. We booked a chalet at Changi for three days. Besides the fact that we'd taken leave from work, it was the time spent together doing things that we don't usually get to do that made brought us closer together. We picnicked together, went bowling, fished (without success!), lazed at the beach, built a sandcastle and played games. In spending quality, extended time away from our daily routine with each other, my family got the chance to catch up and really bond.
